Christmas Around The World

Happy Tuesday! 4 more days...oh so happy! I want to show you a few pictures of what's been happening in my classroom :) And here we go!

My kiddos made these adorable crafts! Since we have been traveling around the world ;) they wrote about where they would like to spend Christmas.

Also, we made some Christmas trees, and the ornaments have flags from some countries we visited.

Holland was one of our favorite countries to learn about. My sweeties made these wooden shoes, and Sinterklass (aka Santa) left some treats for them. Also, those super cute stockings are from A Cupcake By The Teacher...love everything she does!

Also...we had our suitcases ready every time we went from one country to the other. Of course, we enjoyed all of the flights ;) and always used our seat belts. Click on the pictures to go to Rachelle's TpT store.

Ohh...and last but not least, this is how we found our elf this morning!

I hope you are having a wonderful week!

Christmas and Clip Art Freebie :)

Hello everyone! Four more days for Christmas break? Who is as excited as me? I can't wait to have more time to spend with my loved ones. Also, December is a very special month for me, for various reasons :) (birthdays, anniversaries...)
We have been "traveling" around the world since last week...and let me tell you that it has been the best, I have enjoyed it so much! Maybe more than the kids have, HA! But, as always I forgot to take pictures. I will show you more about that tomorrow...our passports, suitcases, etc. I have been loving Rachelle's Holidays Around The World unit. She is the best!

This was my bulletin board last week before I added my kiddos' work. I will post more pictures!

Last week we went to Germany ;) and when my kids came back from P.E. we found a surprise. Santa sent us a gingerbread man all the way from Germany! Wow, my sweeties were thrilled! My babies guessed what could be inside the jar, I love how they made connections and said that since it was from Germany it could be a gingerbread cookie.

And last, but not least...I hope it is not too late for you to use this cute Santa Claus {color and line art}! If you like him, you can download it for free at my TpT store.

Xoxo

Currently, Freebies, And Loving October!

Hello! It is time for October's currently...I am linking up with Farley this month to share a little bit of what is going on in my mind/life this month!

This week is a busy/short week for me. We had professional development on Monday and Report Card Night is on Thursday! I am so excited for parents to go to my classroom so they can see what their sweet babies have been learning. Also, a friend of mine is getting married on Saturday, and I can't wait! Ha! I love weddings, and I just can't wait to "dress up" ;) The weather has been so beautiful here...I just love it, it makes me so happy! I also want to show you some things I have uploaded to my TpT. Here are two freebies. The first one is for teaching about senses, sight in particular {in English and Spanish}. It might be late for me to share, but you can always use it next year :)

The second freebie I have for you is a counting syllables activity {in English and Spanish too}. I hope you like them!

Also, I posted my classroom job badges. I use them to assign jobs in my classroom and my babies love them! They love for everybody to know that they are being special helpers :)

And last but not least, I also uploaded a super cute spider craftivity! My kids are enjoying learning about spiders so much!

I hope you are having a beautiful and blessed week!

A Morning Message :)

I can't believe it is my fifth Monday with my kids...wow! I am so excited because my sweeties are actually following the routine...I am IN LOVE! I love how all the hard work is paying off :) This past weekend I worked on something for my Spanish sweeties. It is a Spanish Morning Message, and I love it! It has over 100 activities where students can review all the letters in the Spanish alphabet, beginning syllables, and ending syllables. "La Charla" is the name of this new baby, and if you want to check it out, you can click on any of the following pictures :)

Also, I uploaded my Heart Alphabet to TpT, it is super colorful and fun!

I hope you have a beautiful week!

Heart Words and Apples

Hi :)! How are you? I am super excited to show you some activities we have been working on in my classroom. I was inspired by Heather to do this lovely activity. I read Chrysanthemum to my babies and as I was reading it we started wrinkling a heart. The kids talked about how Chrysanthemum suffered when the other students made fun of her name. Also, my babies came up with heart words...also inspired by lovely Heather. I love this activity because by saying heart words, my students helped to fix the heart and make it smile :)

I love how this graph turned out...super easy, but they loved it.

Also, the following activity was inspired by Cara. My sweeties made their own scientist. They loved the idea of becoming scientists this school year.

We also talked about the differences between peacemakers and peacebreakers. They all want to be peacemakers, that's for sure :)

Last, but not least I worked on an All About Apples craftivity. It is a mini book, and I love the way it turned out. You can find this activity in English and Spanish here

I hope you are having a wonderful week :)

Grandparents and Monday Made It

Hello everyone :) I can't believe it is September already...time does fly! This is my second week in school with my kids, and I am exhausted! We have been going over the rules, routines, etc. I love how they are trying their best every day! We will have a special open house for grandparents this Friday...oh my word! I mean, I love visitors, but it is kind of difficult to have people in your classroom for 2 hours on the second week of school...I just hope everything turns out okay :) For this special occasion I created this craftivity...

It has several templates in English and Spanish, and of course, everything you need to make these cute grandparents :) what do you think? If you are interested please visit my TpT store here

I am also excited about this Monday Made It, which is now monthly :) I usually use folders for my kids' report cards. These are a few pictures of what I have been working on.

I like for my kids to draw themselves on the cover. After they do so, I paste the card stock on the folders and laminate them. Parents love them! If you like these, you can grab them for free by clicking here. I hope you find them useful. Have a blessed week!

Back To School & Monday Made It

Hi! Long time no see. Today was the first day of school. I got to meet most of my new babies last Friday, but today was the day I got to spend time with them and start getting to know them. There are 19 kids in my classroom, there were 18 last Friday. I think soon I will have 22 :). Last year I had more girls, but this year I have more boys...so, it is very different. They are super cute, but I really need to practice routines...you know how this goes. Also, I am working on some fun name activities, since my sweet students are having a hard time recognizing/writing their names. I am excited to work with them! I have been wanting to "reveal" my classroom for this new school year, but I keep on forgetting to take pictures. Boo for me, but I did take a picture of the Jitter Juice we made...well, I also forgot to take a picture of the poster I made. How could this happen? Ha! I will take a picture tomorrow :), and thank you Abby for this wonderful activity. My kids were super excited, and they couldn't wait to taste it.

For this Monday Made it I worked on the picture frame for the first day of school. I really like the way it turned out.
Oh nooo...they d fell off :(

Here is a picture of my babies so excited about their first day in Kindergarten. I will try my best to take pictures of my classroom tomorrow :) and I hope you all have a wonderful school year.

Must-Haves Monday

I have finally "finished" my crafting for today :). Today was my first day official day in school. We have a week of staff development, then on Friday we will have our "Meet The Teacher Day", and I am SO nervous. I just wish I will be done with my classroom's last details by Thursday. I was in school from 7:45-3:45 in meetings...then I stayed until 6:00. And after a trip to Hobby Lobby, I worked on some of the last details {can't wait to show you how my classroom is turning out :)}. Now I can finally link up to Blog Hoppin' for Must-Haves Monday!

My Erin Condren Planner. I love it...I love doodling and writing all my ideas in it. Also, I write what I plan on cooking for every week :)

My Silhouette Cameo. LOVE it. Today I made some letters for my bulletin board. I will show you the finished product soon!

Flair Pens. They are so colorful...they brighten my day!

Scrapbook Paper. I love making letters or craftivities using this material. Too cute and colorful.

What are your back to school must haves? I hope you have a wonderful week!
